The Forge, Longworth

This was an interesting project to be involved in. Two separate buildings that were joined with an existing conservatory that was to be demolished and upgraded to complement the property as a whole. The footprint of the new build remained the same, but had the addition of an oak porch which gave the new entrance a real wow factor. The warmth of the oak against the dark cladding works exceptionally well and gives a nod to aspects found on the existing dwelling. Reclaimed tiles were used along with conservation style roof-lights. All finishes were carefully considered to keep a traditional feel.
